A struggle for control in Florida as fought between the US Army and the red and black Seminole warriors. This was the bloodiest battle during theSecond Seminole War, part of which took place in and around Riverbend Park and Jupiter, Florida.

Procyk is a local Historian and Archeologist who has worked with local teams and unearthed the site of the Battle on the Loxahatchee River in Northern Palm Beach County, as well as the locations of the subsequent encampment of the Tennessee Volunteers commanded by Major William Lauderdale, near Old Fort Jupiter.
